Saturday, August 28,  Jim will be doing a talk on "Why History Matters" at the Silver City Museum, 312 W. Broadway, Silver City, NM.  This will be a shameless attempt to appear literary and respectable in order to sell a bunch of those Rustler's Moon novels.

Saturday, August 28,  Pinos Altos Opera House COWBOY CONCERT SERIES with Jim, Randy Huston and Mike Moutoux.  Pinos Altos is 10 miles north of Silver City, NM on Hwy. 15 and the Opera House is next door to the famous Buckhorn Restaurant.  Jim, Randy and Mike will be doing a "Songwriter in the Round" format with doors opening at 7 PM, music starting at 7:30 PM, tickets $15 per person (OR 2 for $30!).  For information or to purchase advance tickets, contact Mike Moutoux at cowboymike@dishmail.net or 575-388-4994.
